Pocasi se zhorsilo a tak jsme prejeli z Te Anau asi 200km do Queenstownu. O tomto meste jsme uz slyseli hodne a tesili jsme se tam. Na jednu stranu je to takova pracka na turisty, protoze ve meste a okoli je spousta extremnich aktivit, za kterymi se sem proste jezdi (3 bungee jumpy, z toho jeden nejvetsi na Zelandu, Sky diving – tandemovy seskok, Tandemovy seskok na paraglidu, jet boat – super rychla lod, ktera jede uzkymi kanony, rafting, jizda na horskem kole a spousta dalsich), ale na druhe strane je to moc prijemne mestecko u jezera Wakatipo obestoupene vysokymi horami s velice prijemnou atmosferou v jeho ulickach v centru na na nabrezi u jezera.
My jsme vyuzili Queenstownu v tom, ze jsme si odpocinuli, nacerpali sily na dalsi treky, zasli na internet a napsali nasim kamaradum k Vanocum.
Potkali jsme tu i milou rodinu z Australie, kteri chodily bruslit na zimni stadion a jejich syna to opravdu hodne bavilo. Nabidl jsem se, ze bych jim mohl trosku poradit jak na to, z cehoz meli velkou radost, a i ja jsem si po nekolika mesicich zase zabruslil :-).

V Queenstownu je znama i lanovka (Gondola), kde se da vyjet nebo vyjit pesky. Byl tu moc pekny vyhled na mesto a jezero./ There is a gondola in Queenstown which provides very nice views on town and the lake.

Tady byla scena z prvniho dilu Pana prstenu, kdy vrk tahl Aragorna a stahl ho dolu z utesu do reky :-)/ This is the scene from the Lord of the Rings movie where Aragorn was taken by the wolf and pushed from a cliff to a river.
Queenstown v pozadi. Tohle mesto se nam opravdu libilo./ Queenstown. We have really liked and enjoyed this nice town.
Dalsi pohled na jezero Wakatipo/ Wakatipo lake again
The weather got worse and we decided to go to Queenstown. We have heard a lot about Queenstown and we were excited to see it. Queenstown is a very nice town at the lake Wakatipu surrounded by high mountaines with a very nice atmosphere in the downtown and at wharf.
Queenstown is a paradise for any extreme activity. You can sky dive, paraglide, jet boating, rafting, mountaine biking and many more.
We have taken some rest and got ready for some other walks. We were once at the ice skating ring where I gave some advises to a ver nice Aussie family we met in our camping place. 🙂
