BLOG: Zéland aneb cesta tam a zase zpátky

Dalsi fotecky ze Samui (other photos from Samui island)

Tohle je Velky Budha na severnim pobrezi Samui (This is the Big Budha on the Nothern cost of the Samui island)

Okolo Velkeho Budhy jsou povesene zvony. Obesel jsem je a poradne si zazvonil 🙂
(There are bells around the Big Budha. we went around and hit each of them.)

Hlavne lotosove kvety.

If you pray to Budha you bow three times at first then you lit up the scense sticks or candle and you pray and speak your wishes to Budha. As thanks for fullfiled wishes you bring flowers. At the end you bow three times again and leave.
In front of each temple you have to take off your shoes. At one temple in Bangkok there was a warning: Be aware of loosing your shoes 🙂

Zachytili jsme mistni pri modlitbe. (Thai people praying)

Chram v komplexu Laem Suan Naram na severnim pobrezi Samui (Laem Suan Naram temple on the north coast of Samui island)

Draci 🙂 (Dragons 🙂 )

Lucka se chysta nasednout na nas moped (Lucka is getting ready for the motorbike ride)

Motorbike is the most common transportation vehicle on the island and maybe in whole Thailand. Just the rules are here not strictly followed. If there is a red light it is a signal to the drivers that they can continue driving for approximately 30 seconds… :-). On the other hand the drivers are very careful and we have not seen any accident here yet.
Just a pity that the English man have spoiled also Thailand. You have to drive on left side.
We are already practising for New Zealand 🙂

Peta turuje moped 🙂 (Petr warming up the engine 🙂 )

Tady jsme se u vodopadu, o kterem jsme se zminovali v popularnim clanku se stonozkou 🙂
This the 80m high waterfall.
